August 22

This picture is from Monday eating frozen fruit.
Emma trying out her new outfit, Thanks Aunt Tracy!
Emma in her UofL cheerleading outfit. Go Cards!
Riding on Daddy down the hallway.
Loving the curls!
Ethan needed his picture taken also, so here he is with a car of his.
Wednesday we went to story time at the library and then on a playdate with Julia, Kat, Samantha, and Shepard.
Ellie in mommy's lap, she even calls me mommy. People must think I am crazy with all 3 of these kids 3 and under calling me mommy.
Emma eating and listening.
She hasn't quite learned to sit and listen to the story yet.
Julia and Ethan singing "if your happy and you know it."
Ellie and Emma singing, or rather dancing, also.
Story time was themed about cars and Ethan was loving it.
Emma made a car also.
Friday we went out to all about kids. Here is Emma again on the trapeze swing. People can't believe that she does this.
Ethan on the trapeze also, it is their favorite.
Emma posing on the gym mats. She really is a natural at this gymnastics stuff.
And of course, Ethan and another little boy thought that it would be fun to put all the foam blocks into the circle mats and then climb in there and throw them all out. He did this over and over.
My little monkey.
Emma doing the balance beam.
A girls night out picture. More to come.
These pictures are all from Kathy. She watches Ethan and Emma while Mommy is working and she took them bowling on Thursday. She informed me that Ethan is the first person she has ever seen get a gutter ball with the gutter guards up. He bounced it into the gutter. Now that is talent.
Ellie and Emma watching the ball.
Emma waiting for her turn.
Ethan taking his first turn bowling.
Ethan waiting his turn to bowl.
Emma taking her turn also. They seemed to have fun and we are LOVING our schedule. It is so great to get to be home more with the kids but still work a little.

August 16

We have had a busy busy week and weekend. Mommy had to work everyday this past week for the only time of the school year. The first day of school was crazy as usual. Mommy even rode her bike to work and Wednesday. Friday night we went out and bought Trystan a new mountain bike for his birthday. The picture above is of our crammed back seat with Trystan sitting on Kyle's lap in the back seat smushed between 2 car seats.
While on Kyle's lap he is texting, of course.
Trystan riding home in a car seat with his new bike.
Emma in her car seat on the way home from Mrs. Scottie's house. She watched Ethan and Emma all week and they had a ball. Ethan really enjoyed getting to play with Caleb and Brady all week.

August 9

Yesterday Ethan had his final wee ball game. This is his team reciting the pledge before the game.
Ethan up to bat.
Playing first base and taking a moment out to smile for Mommy.
Ethan got a medal for playing this year and he is so proud of it. He has been wearing it almost the whole time since he got it. He even wore it to church today.
His team with their medals.
So, Thursday we went to Kentucky Kingdom and Ethan noticed that there was a car show there, and not just any old car show, but the Street Rod Nationals. The kid cried not wanting to go into Kentucky Kingdom. He wanted to go to the car show. I promised him that we would come back so there was no getting out of going on Saturday.
It was very hot and I was so glad when we found our friends, Brian, Ellie and Brian's parents. They had 2 cars in the show, a 1930 and a 1929 (not sure of the other info on them.) They let the kids get in them and play. Ethan loved it. Ellie loved the horn.
Brian took us for a ride in the big car and Emma even got to drive. It was much better riding around to look at cars then it was walking around to look at them.
Ethan was standing up in the back seat floor board looking out the window at all of the cars.
I think that this one may have been his favorite.
He liked the engine in this one.
This is Ethan in the "little yellow car" as mommy knows it. He and Daddy got to go for a ride in this one.
Here they are getting ready to leave.
And pulling away.
The little kids playing in the car again.
Ethan eating a snack surrounded by cars. He can't get enough.
Mommy in the back with all the kids.
Emma couldn't decide if she wanted to sit in the front or in the back.
Ethan once again hanging out the window to look at cars.
And of course, not that he is in his hot rod shirt.
Mr. Brian driving us around, thanks Mr. Brian.
I think that this one may be my favorite.
