November 26th

These are some pictures from Tuesday afternoon. Mommy took the kids out to try to get some cute pictures of them in the leaves. You also gotta love Emma's hat.
I think that this one is my favorite.
This one is a little more realistic though.
Ethan was having fun jumping on his brother instead of sitting still on him for a picture.

This is what Mommy has come to call Emma's whole face smile.
On Sunday we had Thanksgiving with one side of the family. There are all the grandkids, Mommy's generation, sitting with Mamaw and Papaw.
Now these are all of the great-grandkids. One had escaped from this picture because there are 6 of them ages 3 and under. Christmas will be really fun this year. The best part is, Mamaw and Papaw had three boys and 8 out of 9 of the grandkids came from Papaw Butch's kids (Mommy's dad!)
Here is Emma in her fur coat. She is a little ice princess.
Emma likes to play her piano.
Saturday, Mommy had a girls night gift exchange at a friends house and took Emma so that the boys could put up Christmas lights. While Mommy was getting ready, Emma thought that she should also. Cotton balls probably don't taste that good though.

Here Mommy was trying to get a picture of Emma's new teeth. You can see the one on the top. She is getting them in in a odd order. She has the top left here but no top middle teeth. She has her two bottom middle teeth and now has gotten two more on the bottom right side. She also has two more trying to come through. Getting 5 teeth at once has been a little challenging.

November 20th

Ok, so the pictures are out of order again. I just don't get it. I do it the exact same way every time and it ends up different every time. I think that this thing just has a mind of its own. Anyhow, these are pictures of Ethan's first day at Child's Day Out. He has started going this week at our church. His alternative is to stay at home with 4 women (no offense Deanna) so he really likes this break. His teacher said that his first week went great (he only goes on Tuesday and Thursday.) His highlight was going to the office. Now this frightened Mommy a little at first. Then he explained what he did in the office and Mommy realized that he was referring to the computer lab because they go to computer on Tuesday. He also likes going to the gym which they do everyday. He has met a new little friend named Nicolas. There are a total of 8 kids in his class (including him) but the only name that he has learned so far is Nicolas.
The picture above is of Ethan in Ms. Stephanie's car. A big thanks to Stephanie for letting Ethan hitch a ride to school everyday. Ethan was so excited about taking his lunch. He helped Mommy pack it the night before. I wish he would have eaten a little more of it though. Almost all of it came back home. He said that he didn't get to finish eating because they said that it was time to go. He is used to being able to lounge around and eat at his own pace. I think that he did better on Thursday eating. Another funny thing, when we are getting his lunch ready and his bag packed the night before, he gets so excited about going to school that he thinks and really wants to be leaving right then. Mommy has to explain to him that it is dark out and it's not time for school. He says that he wants to go anyway and then Mommy has to explain to him that his teacher is not there. He is reluctant to accept this but finally does. It makes it easier on the mom when the kids are excited about going.
Here is Ethan in the front yard getting ready to get in the car and go to school.
Here he is eating his breakfast. He was excited so he didn't eat very good.
This picture was from tonight. We went out to the store and it was snowing. We had to bundle Emma up real good. She fell asleep like this in Kroger and then slept the whole time there and in Toys R Us.
This picture was from Tuesday night. Mommy went out to help her friend April register. She is expecting her first, a boy, and is due right at the same time Mommy was due with Emma. Mommy took the moby wrap and the snuggli and the baby. Emma was our test baby so April could see what she liked. Mommy is ordering April a Moby wrap for her shower gift now.
Here is Ethan again on his first day of school in his classroom. When he first got there he was checking out all the new toys.
The first thing that the kids have to do when they get to school is put away all their stuff. Here is Ethan putting his lunch on the shelf. His teacher is Ms. Kim. You can see her foot here. We will have to make sure to get a picture of her next week.

Novembewr 15

I know, this hasn't been updated for over a week so here we go. The picture above is from today. We had our first fire of the season. This was Emma's first fire ever. She really liked it. We are going to have our hands full this season with her wanting to get into everything.

Here are all of the kiddos sitting by the fire.

This picture was from Wednesday night. The Kingsbury clan all came over to meet DeAnna. Brian was having a lot of fun helping Ethan build a track. I have a feeling that Ellie will have some of these soon.

Here is a picture of our new couch. We are trying to upload a video tour of the basement but it is having some technical difficulties.

Here is another pic of the basement.

Ethan gave the new couch the official seal of approval, it passed the nap test.

Daddy and Ethan even had a slumber party down there. Daddy starts his new job tomorrow so we are trying to get everyone ready for the day tomorrow. Ethan also starts child's day out on Tuesday. Wish us all luck.

November 4th, Election Day

Today is election day and yes we did start off the day by going to vote. After that it was off to the zoo for Mommy and the kiddos. Daddy stayed behind because the carpet people were FINALLY going to come today. They have been behind schedule for a week now and all of the sudden, they are ahead of schedule and show up 2 hours early. At least they got here. After the zoo, Ethan went down to help them put the carpet in.Above we have a before and after picture of the basement. It looks like we will also have to update another after picture tomorrow because Daddy is presently (at 10:00 at night) on his way to Lexington to pick up a sectional that we are buying for down there. We had already arranged the furniture when he made this decision so it looks like it will be a late night tonight and it is back to work for Mommy tomorrow, and on about 4 hours of sleep if I had to guess!

These pictures are from the zoo. Above is Mommy and the kids on the train.
Stephanie and Tyler also on the train and Carolyn in the background!
We took the kids into the petting zoo today. We bypass this a lot but it was fun for a change. Ethan really liked it. They told him not to run and he was a little afraid because he actually listened. This is a boy who only has one speed and that is very fast. I guess goats bigger than you are can be a tad intimidating.
Emma in the aquarium! She liked looking at all the fishys. I am not so sure that she was all that crazy about the snakes though. Ethan really likes them.
All the kids on the komodo dragon. (Ethan, Samantha, Shepard, Benjamin, Julia, and Kat!)

This video is of Ethan in the petting zoo petting the goats.
