July 29

Tuesday night Ethan had a teeball game and these are some pictures from that. He can't hardly see where he is going with that hat like that.
Him and Tyler. They are either loving each other or beating each other up. You never know what you are going to get.
Up to bat.
And cheesing as we run home.
Today we met some friends out at a place called Kazoings. We had never been before but the kids really liked it for a change. There is a huge room with 5 big inflatables. That was fun although I had to go down the slides with Emma. Fun Fun. Then there was a craft room, a room with puzzles and games, and a room that had train tables and lots of toddler toys. That is where most of these pics are from. Ethan said that the train tables were his favorite.
Here is Emma driving around one of the cozy coupe cars. Poor child, when ever anyone had a camera or even a phone (since we are currently without a camera and all of these pics are from my phone) is brought out, she says "cheese" really big. This is her cheese face.
Ethan also liked the cars, who would have ever guessed that one!
Broady, Julia, and Ethan in the craft room coloring. Notice where Ethan's chair is. Yes, he moved it closer to Julia. Look out Broady!
Emma even got to color a picture, with markers!
I had to show this one. Ethan and his OCD tendencies. Don't have a clue where he gets this from. This is what I found when I went to check on him in his room. He had been awful quiet for a good 10 minutes (very uncharacteristic!)

July 27

Yes, this is my last week off of work. Not that I am not going to enjoy our new set up for this school year but...I am just not sure that it can compare to the summer. Anyhow, we are going to make the most of our last full week off of work. Today we got up and went to the zoo. We met our friends Scottie, Brady, Caleb, Carolyn, Samantha, and Shepard out there. We had a great time. I know that these are things that I will still be able to do once school starts back also, at least on Mondays and Wednesdays and every other Friday, so that is the good news about going back to work, I guess. I will have one additional child at that time though.
I am not real sure what Emma was trying to do in the picture above, we were near the giraffes and I believe she wanted to be out like the rest of the big kids.
Three handsome young men, what a handful they can be!

We really thought that this would be a good picture but looking at it now, Emma appears to be trapped. Still cute though I guess.
Emma playing in the van.
Again, a handful of boys all in one van. Looks kinda like the clown van.
Emma trying to figure out just what it is that the boys find so interesting about this van.
Ethan, Brady, and Caleb watching the gorillas.

July 26

These are the pictures from this weekend and what we did. Friday morning, Mommy and Kathy decided to take a bike ride. Something is missing from this equation, the Daddies. Mommies got to experience pulling the kids in the bike trailers up big hills in the park. NOT FUN! We decided, out of necessity, to stop and take a break and let the kids play on the playground, which also meant in the splash park. Ellie thought that she needed to take her clothes off in order for this to happen. Kathy disagreed.
Emma kept her clothes on and still enjoyed the water.
Ethan is definitely a fan of the water. He got soaked. Luckily Mommy had a change of clothes for him.
And we also had a change of clothes for Emma, which was greatly needed.
All loaded up and ready to roll out...
Mommy and the kiddos ready for a fun trip home.
Friday night while Emma was taking a bath, Mommy noticed how pretty her hair was curling up and had to have a picture. Some days it looks like it may be curly and some days it doesn't.
Saturday morning Emma woke up early and got in bed with Mommy. Mommy got up and came in later to find her awake, and reading Trystan's school directory!
Ethan, Emma, and Benjamin playing in the shower.
Saturday morning Ethan went to work with Daddy. It took Daddy a little longer than usual but Ethan sure was a big help.
I guess the sticking out of the tongue thing is an inherited trait, Joey Jr.
Ethan worked so hard that Daddy paid him by taking him to the store and buying him a car.
He even painted a door for Daddy. He sure was a big help.
Mommy and Emma just stayed home and had some girl time goofing around the house.
Sunday morning we got up and went to the lake. We had a great time playing on the boat and tubing. Mommy and Etan took a very short turn in the tube. Ethan was not a huge fan.
Trystan really enjoyed it though.

Mommy and Emma also got in the lake. Emma was not a fan of the life jacket but she really was a trooper.

The kiddos ready for the ride home.

The sunset was amazing as we were leaving. It sure is a pretty lake.

July 23

Today we had to get stuff done around the house so we didn't do a whole lot. We met Amy and Julia at McDonald's for lunch. Ethan enjoyed playing with Julia and Emma really tried to climb up the plaything. Julia even wanted to help her. I am glad she couldn't make it above level 2. After we came home, Mommy did lots of yard work. Cut the grass and pulled weeds all while chasing the kiddos around and trying to keep them out of the street.
