October 4th

Yesterday we had Julia and Kat over for a play date since Mommy didn't have to go work. They all had a good time playing in the backyard. It was a little chilly so Emma was all bundled up in her swing aka thrown.
Ethan and Julia had fun on the swings also.
After playing outside, the kids wanted to play with the play dough. What a mess um.. I mean what fun!

Daddy decided to rip out the stairs and then replace them. Amy got a kick out of this pose and said that he looked like spider man. Also thanks to Mr. Lee (the real Mr. Lee) for helping out!
Emma is now officially on the move. She has started crawling and pulling up on things. What out!
Ethan relaxed a little on the couch and even ended up falling asleep and taking a nap, something that he doesn't do much anymore.

This morning we got up and Daddy worked on the basement some more while Mommy cleaned the kitchen and Benjamin came over the play with Ethan. Later we went on a bike ride to the park and all around it. Even up to the top look out and then back home after letting the kids stop and play at both playgrounds.

After the bike ride, we went to our annual neighborhood social. Ethan was excited because we told him there would be a bouncey thing there. He and Emma went down the slide together.
Emma really loved watching her brother. I know she is really just trying to figure out how she can do all that!
Ethan rode his bike to the party. He gets going really fast on that thing. He said he wanted to stay away from the hills this time though. He learned his lesson.
