Happy First Birthday to Emma!

Emma turned one on the 27th (I know, we are a week behind on posting these pictures but how's counting!) Anyhow, on her birthday, several people came in to wish her a happy birthday. Cici and Sarah came up on Thursday night. Grandad and Rhetta came up Friday morning and then Aunt Kat and Aunt Kim came up later on Friday also. Friday morning was when we took her to get her first birthday pictures made at the studio and then Friday night we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate her birthday. We also sang happy birthday to Aunt Kim because her birthday was last week also.
Emma not only enjoyed eating her cake, she also enjoyed making it!
Ethan liked to help as well.
The birthday girl eating breakfast! She was a princess for the weekend (as if she is not always!)
Ethan, Sarah, and Emma on a ride at Chuck E Cheese.
The princess wearing her crown!
Even Chuck E Cheese wished Princess Emma a happy first birthday.
Emma eating her birthday cake (round 3).
Emma and Sarah eating Emma's birthday cake. Sarah really likes icing.
Daddy taught her how to do this one.
Ethan riding the horse race ride at Chuck E Cheese. He does the tongue thing that his dad does. It is a concentration thing. Somehow tongue out = brain on.
Emma opening a few presents at Chuck E Cheese.
Mommy had to take Emma up in the climbing/crawling thing. We did this with Ethan on his first birthday also. It is really not all that fun, especially when you are an adult.
Mommy was relieved we were finally done!
Princess Emma in her coach!
Emma's birthday cake. If you look really close you can see a real picture of Princess Emma walking out of her castle. Thanks Cici for making the cake.
Emma and Ethan blowing out Emma's candles.
Nana and the princess.
Emma opening her presents at her party.
The princess with her Mommy and Daddy and yes again, her cake. She has become a huge fan of cake, after all it is food and that is her favorite thing! Mommy is still trying to figure out how she is only in the 15th% in weight. We took her to the Dr. for her one year check up Monday and she is 18 lb 5 oz and she eats everything, weighs nothing. Every girls dream!
She likes to share her cake, only not everyone likes to eat off her slober fingers! Happy first brithday Emma. Mommy can hardly believe that her little princess is a year old. Where did the time go???????????
