May 2nd

Well, today is Oaks Day but we went to the zoo with Aunt Jill, Jami, and Bailey. I enjoyed the day off with the kids, although it rained most of the day. We timed it right though, it started raining when we were in the car on the way home from the zoo and it didn't really quit the rest of the day. Ethan's favorite thing to look at when we go to the zoo are the trains. He also loves to ride the trains. They are doing construction on the Tiger exhibit so the backhoe has also gotten a lot of his attention lately. Emma also had her 2 month check up. She is now 11 lb. 1 oz. and 22 inches long. She had to get 4 shots today, poor baby girl. I am still new at this also so these pictures are a little out of order. I am trying to work out all the kinks in my system here.

Emma with Dr. Wojtkowski.
Ethan helping Daddy shovel concrete in the basement. The plumber is coming tomorrow and we are just moving right along in this process.
Trystan with his new golf clubs. We had to go out last night and buy him a new set because he is on the school golf team and they were scheduled to have a match today. It got rained out but at least he has his clubs now.
Jami and Ethan "riding" the rhino.
How does Ethan measure up to a gorilla? You've still got a while buddy.
Emma was actually awake for some of our time at the zoo today. She was even awake for the train ride which she seemed to enjoy.
